Da Nang’s beach club scene continues to grow, and one of the newest additions is the recently opened Columbo Beach Club, located on Vo Nguyen Giap Beach Road between the popular beach clubs Kalà Kalà and Maia. The venue officially welcomed its first guests during its soft opening on Thursday, June 11, giving locals, expats, and tourists a first look at what could become one of the city’s most talked-about beachfront destinations.
While the music selection generally matched the beach-club setting, some guests felt that the playlist became repetitive at times during the opening event. This is a common issue for new venues and will likely improve as the club develops its entertainment schedule.
Food and Drinks
One area where visitors should prepare their wallets is food and beverage pricing. Columbo positions itself firmly in the premium beach club category, with prices comparable to – and in some cases slightly higher than nearby Kalà Kalà Beach Club.
As a rough guide:
- Soft drinks: around 75,000 VND
- Beer: around 75,000 VND
- Cocktails: typically 200,000 VND or more
The pricing may be higher than many bars in Da Nang, but it aligns with what visitors can expect from beachfront venues offering pool access, entertainment, and a resort-style experience.

Columbo enjoys a prime beachfront location at 51 Vo Nguyen Giap, one of Da Nang’s most desirable coastal stretches. Sitting between Kalà Kalà and Maia Beach Club, it’s easy to find and benefits from constant foot traffic from beachgoers exploring the area’s growing collection of entertainment venues.
