My Top 8 Rooftops in Da Nang

My personal top 8 rooftops in Da Nang for sunsets, sea views, rooftop pools, relaxed evenings, and full party nights.

There’s something about getting above the traffic in Da Nang. The motorbikes turn into background noise, the sea opens up in front of you, and the skyline starts to glow as the sun drops behind the mountains. Rooftops here aren’t just places to drink. They’re places to think, work, celebrate, or just breathe.

These are my personal top 8.

1. Endless Summer Rooftop Bar

📍 Endless Summer Rooftop Bar, 03 An Thuong 30, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang

One of my go to sunset spots. Endless Summer is perfect for golden hour with a full city view. During Tết, the fireworks from up here are unreal. You get that wide skyline perspective that makes Da Nang feel bigger than it is. It’s relaxed, easy, and great for bringing friends who are visiting for the first time.

Best for sunset and Tet fireworks.

2. Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang

📍 Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel – 270 Vo Nguyen Giap, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang

One of the highest rooftops near the beach. The view of the sea is huge and dramatic, especially on a clear day. It’s usually quiet compared to some other places, and the indoor seating is comfortable if you want to properly relax rather than stand around.

Great if you want height, peace, and a full ocean horizon.

3. Stella Maris Beach Da Nang

📍 Stella Maris Beach Da Nang – 03 Vo Van Kiet, Phuoc My, Son Tra, Da Nang

Very underrated. If you buy something, you can use the rooftop pool, which already makes it worth it. The sea view is clean and open, and there’s both an upstairs and downstairs area. Inside, you’ve got comfortable seating, so you can actually work from here with a proper view.

Prices are reasonable, and it’s one of the best value rooftops in the city.

4. Horizon Bar

📍 Horizon Bar at Four Points by Sheraton Danang – 120 Vo Nguyen Giap, Phuoc My, Son Tra, Da Nang

This one feels more upper class and polished. It’s a bit fancier, ideal for evenings when you want to relax properly. The beach and sea view from here is beautiful, especially when the lights start coming on along the coastline.

Not loud, not chaotic. Just smooth and elevated.

5. Sky21 Bar & Bistro

📍 Sky21 Bar & Bistro at Belle Maison Parosand – 216 Vo Nguyen Giap, Phuoc My, Son Tra, Da Nang

A bit pricier, but there’s always some music going on, so it feels more alive than sitting in silence. It’s more energetic than a quiet rooftop, but it’s not full party mode either. You can still talk comfortably. The sea view is strong from here.

Good balance between chill and social.

6. Sky36

📍 Sky36 at Novotel Danang Premier Han River – 36 Bach Dang, Hai Chau 1, Hai Chau, Da Nang

This is the party rooftop. Loud music, dancers, lots of foreigners, and a fun elevator ride to the top. It’s expensive, and if it rains there’s no proper roof cover in some sections, but if you want energy and movement, this is where you go.

Definitely not a quiet sunset spot. This is night out territory.

7. Wyndham Danang Golden Bay

📍 Wyndham Danang Golden Bay – 01 Le Van Duyet, Nai Hien Dong, Son Tra, Da Nang

Beautiful sunset view here. You can see the bridge and even spot Ba Na Hills in the distance on a clear day. The perspective feels different from the beach side rooftops.

Sometimes they’re not the most welcoming if you’re not a guest, and you need to follow certain customs like removing your shoes at the top. Still, the view makes it worth the effort.

8. Mauna Kea Sky Bar

📍 Mauna Kea Sky Bar – 233 Nguyen Van Thoai, Phuoc My, Son Tra, Da Nang

You can use the pool here too, which is a big plus. You get sea and beach views on one side, and sunset views on the opposite side. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, prices are reasonable, and it’s usually not too busy.

A really solid all round rooftop if you want something relaxed without chaos.

Da Nang’s rooftop scene isn’t massive, but it’s strong. Whether you want fireworks during Tet, a quiet place to work with the sea in front of you, or a full night out with dancers and loud music, there’s a rooftop for that.

And honestly, the city just hits different from above.
